Engineering Workshop, Electronics Design Lab, Packaging & PCB Facility

This page should combine the department’s practical prototyping backbone: electronics design benches, PCB design and assembly support, hardware build environments, and workshop-linked activities that allow students and researchers to move from concept to demonstrator. In a department like ESE, these spaces are essential because so much of the research involves systems, prototypes, interfaces, instrumentation, and early translational development.

The emphasis should be on enabling design realization: PCB design and bring-up, embedded electronics integration, instrumentation support, packaging and interconnect preparation, mechanical / build support where available, and training use in project-heavy courses and student builds.
